Peter Bufano & Cirkestra

Peter Bufano was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut (the home town of P.T. Barnum). He’s a graduate of The Berklee College Of Music as well as Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. His music can be heard in plays, movies, accompanying silent films, circus’ and on morning radio news shows. He has run away to join the circus on more than one occasion and his appearances in the ring have played to hundreds of thousands across the U.S. and Japan.

Peter calls Boston home but can be seen playing piano and accordion across the United States with Ringling Bros, Barnum & Bailey Circus, The Bindlestiff Circus, Circus Smirkus or with his band Cirkestra, a circus band that has been described as “Eastern European meets jazz meets Spike Jones meets klezmer” kind of sound.
