Mike Weakley as Hillbilly the Clown on the Greatest Show on Earth
Mike “Hillbilly” Weakley is a 1988 graduate of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College. He then toured with the circus for 7 years as Hillbilly the Clown, and as a featured stiltwalker. Since that time he has entertained and performed for audiences at theme parks, professional sporting events, casinos, corporate events, festivals, concerts, trade shows, and other special events all across the country. Some of the notable venues Mike has performed in over the years include The White House, Caesar’s Palace, Sea World, the Orange Bowl Parade, Universal Studios, and Jimmy Buffett’s Margarataville. His work is primarily on stilts, although he also does a number of very complicated balloon animals.
Mike is also a very accomplished circus arts instructor who has taught at the RBBBC Clown College, Cirque du Soleil’s “Cirque du Monde”, Circus Sarasota, Cirque du Jour, and the Boy Scouts of America.
Mike is now based in Orlando, Florida.
