Jamie Adkins in Circus Incognitus (NY Feb 11-27)
Jamie Adkins began his career at the age of 13 in San Diego, where he delighted passers-by as a street performer. Later, in San Francisco, he joined the Pickle Family Circus. From the Pickle’s Jamie move to Montreal and joined Cirque Eloize, where he performed over 500 shows for them. Since 2005, Jamie has been using his charms and skills as a clown, acrobat, juggler, and poet to amaze and wow audiences and win over critics and the circus loving public.
Jamie’s newest show is call Circus Incognitus, and features Jamie as a man who has something to say, but can’t quite get it out. Right side up and upside down, Jamie finds the magic hidden in just about anything. Whether he’s juggling a lemon on his body, jumping into a cardboard box to see if he can, or balancing for dear life on the slack rope, Jamie’s facility with his materials and his sense of humor are sure to delight and entertain.
