Circorts Festival in Barcelona June 14-16
I have lived in Barcelona now for 3 years, and it never ceases to amaze me how festivals get by my radar.
I have my antennas tuned for circus and theatre festivals, but somehow I just discovered this circus festival happening this weekend. It is about 15 blocks from my house, and in it’s 25th year, which means that for at least 3 years it happened under my clown nose. (This might be the festival I tried to attend a couple of years ago that I found out about on the day of, and went to the place, and couldn’t find it, and none of the stores seemed to know about it)
Of course, my Spanish and Catalan are limited, so it is not entirely my fault, but I am on several spanish clown/circus facebook groups, and I don’t think they mentioned this once!
Anyway, The Circorts festival is happening this weekend in Les Corts, a neighborhood of Barcelona. All of the festival is taking place in and around one location Plaça de les Ceràmiques Vicens, which is very close to Camp Nou, the home of Barcelona Football.
The Festival is entirely Free, but three of the shows need registration in order to attend.
