Based in Brisbane, Australia, Circa is a contemporary circus ensemble that blends bodies, light, sound and skills. In their work, acrobatics and movement meld into a seamless whole and the extreme possibilities of the human body are celebrated.   Under the artistic direction of Yaron Lifschitz, the ensemble creates innovative, genre-bending pieces that celebrate the expressive possibilities of the human body at its extremes.Since 2006, Circa has toured to 24 countries across five continents.  Circa’s touring program in 2011 reached over 174,000 audience members locally, nationally and internationally.
 Wunderkammer is a sexy, funny and explosive cabinet of wonders featuring seven multi-talented artists. The new work is a breathtaking spectacle, full of sheer physical poetry.  NYU warns that is not really kid-friendly, and that they recommend you be 12 or older to attend. Â
Performances of Wunderkammer will take place March 20–24 at the NYU Skirball Center. The running time is 85 minutes with no intermission.
